Why I developed this first-ever shared app for couples.
We had been dating for six years when I realized that parts of him were still a mystery to me. Six years had flown by without some of the deep, intimate talks that all couples should have.
I developed this course because I needed solutions to help me deal with some crushing losses that added increased pressures on our relationship. Many of the solutions that I found were based on the discoveries of neuroscience, the study of the brain.
A relationship is just as much a journey of self-discovery and growth as it is of one discovered together.
Love is not intuitive nor does it provide the answers to life’s difficult times. When life settles in after marriage, couples often find that they are misunderstood and expectations are unbalanced, leaving resentment and disappointment.
Through our journey of the heart and mind, while taking a life preparation course that was old-school compared to Profound Partnerships, but effective, we had to face our fears, navigate uncharted territories of uncertainty, open our hearts in new ways, and risk it all by becoming vulnerable to each other. We discovered invaluable knowledge about each other and finally found strength in the solidity of our relationship.
